IHDNAG

I keep forgetting to make my bed.  And to do my homework.  And to always say please and thank you.

I forget the little things.  As well as some big things.  I keep forgetting why i'm here, and what i'm supposed to do.

We are all here for a purpose, but sometimes that purpose is blocked by all our questions.

We forget that it doesn't matter who you are, where you are from, what you have done, or what you are doing now.  We all have the potential to do some good to this world.  So the question isn't When will my time come?

The real question is When will we own ourselves completely.

Everyone has their own excuses.  And those people with excuses are the ones that will not shine in this world but diminish in their own sadness and regret.

Death takes form in different ways.  The most obvious one, of course is physical death.  But what happens when death finds your passion, or your inspiration?  That is what happens to the people who lose sight of the light and fall into an abyss of darkness.

I've made my fair share of wrong choices.  Many of which have made it harder for me to see the light.  But there is not a single choice that you can make that will block the light completely.  Only your excuses to be lazy instead of exceed to your full potential can do that.

If I have learned one thing in my 17 years of existence, it is that everyone dies.  Sometimes death finds us sooner than expected.  So why waste your days in misery making up excuses when that day could very well be your last.

This post probably makes no sense to most people.  Hell, it doesn't even make much sense to me.  But interpret as you want.  The point is, tonight is not the last time I will see the light.

Film Analysis

The Sandlot

OW:  Scotty Smalls is an ordinary kid who has just moved into a new town just before school gets out for the summer.  At first it is hard for him to make friends, but eventually a boy named Ben Rodriguez takes him under his wing and becomes friends with him.  He teaches him how to play baseball and lets him join their team.
Call:  One summer afternoon the team finds themselves in trouble when they run out of baseballs to play with.  Scotty remembers that he had seen a baseball in his dad's trophy room.  He quickly runs home and ignores the signature that is marked on the ball.  Scott is up to bat first and on the second pitch to his horror, he smashes the ball over the fence.  He then tells the rest of the team that it was signed by Babe Ruth and they realize they have to find a way to get it back.  The only problem, a giant monster dog lives on the other side of the fence.
Refusal:  At first Scotty is so shocked that all he can do is lay down and think that he is dead.
Mentor:  Benjamin is the mentor in this movie.  No matter how tough or bad things get, he always gives Smalls confidence and never puts him down.  He is always thinking of ways to try and help him.
Threshold:  Scotty and the team start building contraptions and thinking of other ways to get the ball back from the beast.  They try again and again but nothing seems to work.
Tests, Allies, Enemies:  The only enemy in the movies is the beast dog because he has the ball and won't give it back.  The entire baseball team are Scotty's allies.  One big test is how they are going to get the ball back without getting killed.
Approach:  Ben finally realizes that the only way they can get the ball back is if someone jumps over the fence on their own and retrieve the ball by hand.
Ordeal:  On the night before the big event Benny receives a revelation.  Babe Ruth appears to him in a dream and tells him what he has to do.  He tells him just to jump the fence and grab the ball.  He also gives Benjamin some very good words of advice that stick with him through the rest of his life.  "Heros get remembered, but legends never die."
Reward:  After jumping the fence and retrieving the ball from the dog, everything falls right into place.  The old man who owns the dog trades them a way better baseball for theirs, they become friends with the dog, and Scotty ends up only getting in a little trouble.  Also Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez goes to the MLB when he grows up.
The Road Back:  The boys go back to their ordinary lives of playing baseball at the Sandlot again.  Eventually they all move away and lose connections with each other.

Ordinary World

Master Chief was just an ordinary guy living in an ordinary town going to an ordinary school.  In fact, there was nothing special about his life at all.  You could even say it was amazing how ordinary his life was.  That is until some not so ordinary happened.  One day, while roaming about the forrest on a casual walk, Master Chief stumbled upon an abnormally large egg.  Little did he know, what was inside this strange egg would change his life.  What was in it you ask?  Well I suppose I could tell you without ruining the story.  Inside this egg was the last Yeti on Earth.

How will this creature change his life?  Will it be friendly or end up killing everyone?  How did this egg end up in the middle of the forrest?

Found Poem

The Posies:  Its Great To Be Here Again
It 's easy livin' in the house of your dreams
Wall to wall with every trophy you don't need
All the players say the damndest things
Making time for the camera 16 minutes can bring

Hands tied, put them up in the air
And load it down like you probably don't care
The whole world is starting to share
In a sense all the senseless events happen here
Yeah, it's great to be here again
Where the saints all sing along
I hope the party never ends

Act now and you'll play for it later
Chill out before you learn how to hate her
It's too late to take it all back while you wait for the top of the ladder to crack

Order up!
This one's for the kiddies
They don't care now and they never Diddy
Holy water is under the bridge to the future we're burning to get to the fridge

Yeah, it's great to be here again
Where the saints all sing along
I hope the party never ends

Yeah, it's great to be here again
Where the saints all sing along
I hope the party never ends

A ryhming dictionary and a bag of chicken
A pin button puffin starting to thicken
Most extreme eliminatin' the rival teams
A midget mercenary married to a Wiccan

Hell yeah, it's great to be here again
Where the saints all sing along
I hope the party never ends

I like the scene, I like the sound, I like the way that we pretend
While the saints all sing along
Hope the party never ends!
(I'm glad we're still friends I hoping that it won't end; I'm in love with the fight I'm breakin those who won't bend)

Hands tied
It used to be easy living,  now your dreams are burning to the ground
The whole world is staring senseless at you
They don't care and they never did

Hoping the party would never end was your only concern
It's too late to take it all back
Now you're paying for your actions
There are no sounds, no scenes, no saints
Hell is here

I hope the party never ends

Raise The Roof (Favorite Song Lyrics)

Are we human, or are we dancer?

I got soul but i'm not a soldier
BRING THE NOISE
Love is going to save us
I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul
           RELAX, take your time
We were fated to pretend
For a minute there, I lost myself
Lights and music, are on my mind
Up on melancholy hill there's a plastic tree
I can FEEL the BEAT
                                        Get Loose
                                        Let It Be
Its great to be here again
                                                              What goes up
                                                            Must come down
STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON
                                             ROCK n RAVE
Put       Your      Hands     Up      In     The      Air

Scrumptious

I don't really know why I chose this word. It could be that I just enjoy the way it rolls off my tongue so smoothly when I say it. Or that you can use it to describe almost anything. For example, that food was scrumptious, that music sounded scrumptious, or even that girl looks very scrumptious today. You see, not only is this word fun to say, it can also be used in various forms to describe pretty much anything. It gives me a giddy feeling inside every time I say it. Kind of like how little kids get giddy when their parents take them to get ice cream after a game or walking downstairs on Christmas day. It fills my soul with joy to hear and say this word. I think we should all definitely start over using this word every day. Just try and add it to every sentence you say. Whenever you are trying to describe something, use scrumptious. Nothing would give me more satisfaction than to hear this word being over used every day.

D E A T H

Hello fellow peers.  To start off, I would like to thank those of you that have the time a patience to read and ponder my last will and testament before I leave this world and pass over into the next, well that is if there is a next.

By now you are probably wondering, "how did this fine and stunning gentlemen end up dying?"  This question is quit easy to answer.  I was killed in a very awesome way because all important people die in fascinating ways.  Well back to the point, you see late one night I was assassinated in my sleep.  Yes, it was very tragic but do not stop reading because you have discovered I am dead, for there is still much to learn.

To start off this testament, I would like to thank those who have had the biggest impact on my life.  First is my parents obviously, just like everyone else.  I would next like to thank Johnny Knoxville for being a huge inspiration to me.  Don't ask why because I do not want to take the time or effort to explain it.

Do not weep or grieve that one of the worlds most spectacular and most interesting people that have ever set foot on this earth is probably dead, but be happy and rejoice that I conquered this planet with my inspirational writings and other great talents and left this world on top.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams

I walk alone.

Through the streets of an abandoned city.  No noise except for a broken record.  The sent of rotten food, the taste of ash in my mouth, and a fire burning is coming from somewhere off in the distance.

I walk alone.

Soon I come to a point where there are no more buildings.  No more sounds.  Not even the sent of rotting food.  There is just nothing.  As far as I can see, nothing.  I am completely and utterly alone.

As I continue down this long road I realize I can no longer remember what life was like before I began walking.  I can not remember the taste of food, the sound of music, the touch of grass. Nothing.  My mind can only think of the emptiness and loneliness that surrounds me.  No matter what I do I can't, and never will be able to escape this dark nothingness.

I walk alone

Thinking About You

I'm thinking about you.  I'm thinking about you like Tom thinks about Jerry.
Like Beavis thinks of Butt-Head.  Like Brad thinks about Angelina.
Like Jim thinks of Pam.  Like Rocky thinks of Bullwinkle.

I'm thinking about you like Jimi Hendrix thinks of guitars.  Like M.J. thinks of singing.
Like Travis Barker thinks about drumming.  Like Mozart thinks about the piano.
Like Tupac thinks about rapping.  Like Led Zeppelin thinks of rocking.

I'm thinking about you like cookies think of milk.  Like cheese thinks of crackers.
Like pancakes think about syrup.  Like ice cream thinks about hot fudge.
Like doughnuts think about sprinkles.  Like cake thinks about frosting.

I'm thinking about you like rain thinks of lighting.  Like clouds think of floating.
Like winter thinks of freezing.  Like flowers think of spring.
Like leaves think of falling.  Like water thinks of flowing.

I'm thinking about you.

Love Is

  • Love is like smoking a pipe on a cool summer night in the Shire.
  • Love is like being at a rave with the perfect trance song playing.
  • Love is like a shot of Vodka (at first it burns, but eventually it feels good).
  • Love is like falling through the sky during a thunder storm.
  • Love is like a magic carpet ride over Paris at night.
  • Love is like riding on the back of a tiger through the fields of Narnia.

Introduction

As a group of brilliant minds once stated, "you got to fight, for your right, to party!"  No other words have had a greater impact on my life.  It has taught me to always try to party wherever I am, no matter who I am with.  Everyday for the rest of my life I will try to party the hardest I can everyday no matter what.  Life is to short to get stressed out over school and dating and friends and family and other worthless stuff, you just need to forget about all those things and party way hard.  If you follow those words of advice by the reverend Beastie Boys then you will for sure live a fulfilling and joyful life......... Oh and obviously I am being sarcastic about forgetting all the important things in life and partying everyday, those things are probably a lot more important than partying.  But anyway, I do like to party.
